Cleaning 101 as a Pro

Welcome to the place where we you can clean your bike as the MotoGP pro’s.
With the cleaning performance products from The-Paddock will we make your life a lot easier.
Your bike is your support and rock when you need it, now it’s time to give some love back to your best mate.

We advise you to:
1. Work with the products of The-Paddock itself, for optimum results
2. Read this article fully trough before starting
3.Read the description of every product

Let’s start right away with the process to get your bike in the condition we need it to be.
We are counting in steps so you can walk trough them one by one.

Step 1;

Let’s us start with getting the dust, sand and road dirt off your motorcycle.
This can be done easy with an water hose. Make sure you are spraying up to 5-10 minutes. After just an short amount of spraying the dirt has only been replaced and not been fully washed away.

Step 2;

Take an bucket, fill it with water, it does not have to be hot.. To much of hot water could damage your paintwork. Make sure its lukewarm and add 25 ml of The-Paddock Wash & Shine to it.

Take out your sponge and let it soak for 2 minutes in the bucket of water.
Now its time to start the cleaning process. Start from the front and work your way all to the back. Now it’s time to get you’re ‘’The-Paddock – Small brush’’.
You can scrub the little, tough to get places, like in between your rear shock nice and tidy.

All done? You’ve made sure the bike is all washed? Then it’s time for,

Step 3;

We are starting with another spray of water with the garden hose. Make sure all the soapy water has been ditched. Now it’s time to dry the back with some of The-Paddock finest Microfiber towels. These are specially made to protect your bike from any scratches. Make sure that also the tiny holes or smaller places are dry to! Otherwise the Ceramic Coating will not attach as best when applied.

Before we are heading for step 4, we need to make sure everything is good and ready to go.

1. You are wearing your gloves
   2. The bike is not warm from the sun
   3.The bike is fully dried
   4.You have set-up all the products that are needed

Alrighty! Lets have some fun and bring the bike you love to the best shape it has ever been in,

Step 4;

Put on your gloves that you got delivered withing the Ceramic Coating pack.

( The gloves are there for taking care of the finger prints)
Apply the pre-clean on a microfiber towel and make sure to get some pressure on the towel when you are applying the product. Buff the product in all the spots. This product is leaving some striping on the fairings, don’t panic this is all fixed in the next step!

Let it sit for another 2-3 minutes per Fairing and do not forget you rims.

Step 5;

Don’t take your gloves off yet!
Now it is time to get your white hand glove and take some Ceramic Coating on it. Apply the product to the fairing and make sure it’s you are wiping in the same direction the whole time. If you look closely you can see some drops of water coming up on the paint work. This means the product is busy attaching.

Make sure every part of the motorcycle has been collected by the Ceramic Coating. Let it sit for another … minutes. Take the grey microfiber cloth and buff the product out. You can use some pressure on it. Make sure it’s been buffed to an high shine. When you’ve done the hole motorcycle you are already done! The motorbike will fully dry up in one hour.
