Let’s start right away with the process to get your bike in the condition we need it to be.
We are counting in steps so you can walk trough them one by one.
Step 1;
Let’s us start with getting the dust, sand and road dirt off your motorcycle.
This can be done easy with a water hose. Make sure you are spraying up to 5-10 minutes. After just a short amount of spraying the dirt has only been moved to another spot and not been fully sprayed away.
Take The-Chain brush and clean your chain from all the sides. The chain brush from The-Paddock is very different than other ones. Due that the brushes are more closer to each other, will this help you getting your chain cleaner more easily. It is also a perfect solution for the smaller chains like on the A2 or A1 motorcycles.
Step 2;
Take a bucket, fill it water somewhere around 5L, make sure that it’s not super hot.. Too much of hot water could damage your paintwork. Make sure its lukewarm and add 10ML of The-Paddock -> Rise&Shine to it.
Take out The-Sponge or The-Washing Glove and let it soak for 2 minutes in the bucket with the Rise&Shine.
Now its time to start the cleaning process. Start from the front and work your way all to the back.
With the Rise&Shine it is very easy to get all the dirt and insects off. This is due that the Rise&Shine has Protein-degrading ingredients.
When you are done with both sides you can take out: The-Wooden Brush.
You can scrub the little, tough to get places, like in between your rear shock nice and tidy.
When your all done, you can take the waterhose again and make sure all the soap is washed away.
Step 3;
You’ve made sure all the soapy water has been ditched. Now it’s time to dry the bike with some of The-Paddock finest Microfiber towels. These are specially made to protect your bike from any scratches. Make sure that also the tiny holes or smaller places are dry too! The microfiber cloths are designed for drying the motorcycle as best, but they also are perfect to rub wax on the surfaces as well.
Step 4;
Take out The-Lube and make sure your chain is well greased. We choose to spray the grease on the sprocket as well as on the inside of your chain. We recommend doing this in a spot besides your side stand. Here you are safe and sound with getting any grease on your tire.
Now you have also done the inside of the chain, it not only protects the rubbers in between better, but this is also the important point of your chain. The inside runs of course over the sprocket, this is where the grease must be to make it run smoothly. You will notice the difference immediately.
Of course, keep in mind that you are careful not to get it on your tire! – It can happen to the best of us.
Use a piece of cardboard and keep it behind the spray where you will use the chain grease. This way you can be sure that you will not end up in an unexpected slip course.
Your motorcycle is now clean, shining and the chain has been greased.
There are no more streaks of the Rise&Shine. The Rise&Shine has been developed in such a way that it dries streak-free and shines for a longer period of time. With the small amount of soap you need you will be able to use the Rise&Shine for a very long time!
Now your bike is all clean and tidy you can make sure everything is working properly as well. Check your indicators, lights and tires to check if these are still in good condition. And the most important part – your motorcycle looks as it came out of the factory!
