The double socket arm has a recess on both ends for mounting a base with a 1″ ball. A single spring in the arm opens both recesses so that you can place the 1″ ball in the arm. This mounting method allows you to position your equipment in almost any position for the perfect viewing angle. Standard arm to connect 2 standard 1″ RAM mount spheres.
